Why does the first run take a while?

The voice server sleeps when nobody is using it. The first run wakes it, which can take a minute or more.

Can I clone my own voice?

Yes, right on this page. Sign in, confirm the voice is yours, record a short reading, then type a script and hear it in your voice. Clone runs use your plan’s credits, and the same clone narrates your Synthvids videos.

Why is there a limit?

Each run costs us real voice generation, so the free runs are capped per day.
