Two new things in Synthvids this month. First, finished videos now post straight to your TikTok profile, at the visibility you choose, either right away or on a schedule. Second, there's a new way to get a look for your channel: Create a style from a story. Pick one of your stories, and AI reads the script and designs a custom visual style made for it, then puts it on your channel in one click.

Posting to TikTok
What changed?
TikTok approved Synthvids for Direct Post. Until now, a video sent from Synthvids landed in your TikTok inbox as a draft, and you had to open the TikTok app to finish posting it. Now it goes straight to your profile.
How do I post a video to TikTok from Synthvids?
- In Channel setup → Channel & accounts, connect the channel's TikTok account.
- Open a finished video and choose TikTok in the publish window.
- Pick a caption, choose who can see it, set your options, and post it now or schedule it.
The publish window shows your own TikTok account's options, read live from TikTok, so what you see matches what TikTok allows for your account:
- Caption. Synthvids writes caption suggestions for every render. Pick one or write your own.
- Who can see it. Your account's real visibility choices, with nothing picked for you. You choose every time.
- Comments, Duet and Stitch. Turn any of them off for that video.
- Content disclosure. If the video promotes your own business or is paid for by a brand, say so, and TikTok labels it the way its rules require.
Can I schedule TikTok posts?
Yes. Put a finished video on the publishing calendar and pick a time, the same way you schedule YouTube videos. The calendar shows YouTube and TikTok posts side by side, so a month of both lives in one place. Nothing goes out without you choosing to publish or schedule it.
I connected TikTok before. Do I need to do anything?
If you connected your TikTok account before Direct Post was switched on, reconnect it once in Channel & accounts. Until you do, that connection keeps sending videos to your inbox. Posts that were already scheduled to go to the inbox stay that way; reschedule one if you'd rather it post directly.
Which videos work best on TikTok?

Create a style from a story
What does it do?
Your channel's visual style decides how every AI scene looks. Synthvids has built-in styles (Photoreal, Vintage Sepia, Synthwave and Hand Drawn), and you can design your own custom style. Writing a good custom style used to mean describing the medium, the characters, the palette, the lighting and the atmosphere yourself.
Now AI can do that part. Create a style from a story reads one of your stories, including its script, and designs a complete style package that fits its topic and mood:
- a name and a short description of the look
- the base medium, and how to refine it
- how characters look, kept consistent from scene to scene
- a color palette
- the lighting and mood
- the atmosphere
A story about a UFO whistleblower might come back as grainy, declassified surveillance footage in cold blue-white and night-vision green. A story about a 1920s heist might come back as something else entirely. The style is designed for the story you picked, not chosen from a list.
How do I use it?
- Open Channel setup → Look and choose Create a style from a story.
- Pick a story. Your most recently scripted story is at the top. You can also pick no story, and the style is designed from your channel's name and persona instead.
- Tap Create style. It takes a few seconds.
That's it. The new style is saved and selected for that channel straight away, so your next render uses it. You don't have to edit anything first.
Can I change it?
Yes. The style appears in your presets with an AI CREATED badge. Open it to adjust any field, then Save as my preset to keep your edited version as one of your own presets.
Does it use up one of my preset slots?
No. Every account gets the AI created style as a free extra slot that doesn't count toward your plan's preset limit, and you can use it on any channel. There's one AI created style per account: creating a new one replaces it, including on any channel that's using it. If you want to keep a style you like, save it as your own preset before you create the next one.
Is it on every plan?
Yes, Create a style from a story is on every plan, including Free. Plans differ in how many of your own presets you can save; see pricing for each plan.

Does Synthvids post to TikTok automatically?
Only when you tell it to. You choose each video's caption, visibility and options, then publish it now or schedule it on the calendar. Scheduled videos post at the time you set without you being there.
Can I post the same video to YouTube and TikTok?
Yes. Publish it to each platform from the same publish window, or schedule both on the calendar.
How does the AI decide on a style?
It reads the story's title, category, format and script, plus your channel's name and persona, and designs a look that fits the topic and mood. Characters are kept consistent and are usually shown with faces turned away or in shadow, which suits faceless storytelling.
Can I create a new style for every video?
You can. Some channels keep one look for everything; others change it per story. Create a style from a story, render, and create a new one for the next story whenever you want. Up to 10 styles can be created per hour.
